Meet Mr. Gilland Avril, Chair with responsibility for Education and Community Outreach at the St. Lucia Diabetes and Hypertension Association (SLDHA). With over 25 years of experience as an innovator, designer, and builder in the creative industry, Mr. Avril is also an entrepreneur with a keen interest in product development, business development, and training.
Passionate about nurturing the next generation of artisans and entrepreneurs in Saint Lucia, he has dedicated years to advancing this vision through collaborations with various local and regional organizations. Bringing his wealth of experience in creativity, entrepreneurship, and business development to the SLDHA, Mr. Avril aims to foster innovation, embrace technology, and introduce agile problem-solving approaches to strengthen the Association’s operations, enhance community outreach, and support the advancement of its mission.
