Meet Mr. Chris Henry, a Saint Lucian entrepreneur, creative professional, and emerging community advocate who believes in the power of communication, compassion, and collective action to create meaningful change. As a newly appointed member of the Executive Board of the St. Lucia Diabetes and Hypertension Association (SLDHA), Chris is committed to strengthening health awareness, promoting community involvement, and supporting the Association’s mission to improve the well-being of people throughout Saint Lucia.
As the founder of Fyah Records, Chris brings experience in graphic design, animation, multimedia production, branding, and digital communication. He looks forward to using his creative skills to make public health information more engaging, accessible, and relevant to individuals, families, and communities across the island.
In his role as Chair of the Public Relations & Fundraising Committee, Chris aims to enhance the Association’s public image, increase participation in its programmes, and foster meaningful partnerships with businesses, sponsors, community organizations, and other stakeholders. He is particularly passionate about creative outreach and inclusive fundraising initiatives that can help sustain the Association’s programmes and support its long-term goals.
Recognizing the impact that diabetes and hypertension have on individuals, families, and communities, Chris believes that accessible information, early awareness, prevention, and a supportive community environment are essential to empowering people to make informed decisions about their health. He looks forward to collaborating with fellow Board members, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and partners to advance the SLDHA’s work and contribute to a healthier Saint Lucia.
